Introduction to Coach Developer

This event is targeted towards individuals who are new to or have the potential to support the development of coaches and officials. Participants from all sport codes are welcome and will take part in a one-day workshop which aims to provide learning and upskilling opportunities in the following areas:

• Coach support contexts and roles

• 1:1 and small group-based coach support approaches

• Communication and facilitation skills

Gain confidence in your coaching. Learn about Player Centered Coaching, Behaviour Management, Activity Design and Adaptability, creating fun and engaging sessions, working with Parents and Whānau.

Coach Workshop

Join us for a coaching course designed to nurture the all-around growth of coaches working with young athletes. This interactive sessions will equip you with the tools and insights to foster environments that are positive, enjoyable, safe, and developmentally appropriate, helping young athletes thrive. At the same time, you’ll enhance your own journey as a coach, building confidence, capability, and a deeper understanding of your impact.

Equity, Inclusion & Cultural Competence - Supporting Inclusive CoachingEquip coaches to become inclusive leaders by developing their understanding and delivery of inclusive practices. Learn to promote gender equity, cultural responsiveness, and accessibility in sport, while empowering coaches to challenge bias and foster a strong sense of belonging within their teams and environments
